New York State Trying to Address Growing Fentanyl Issue

New York state is trying to address the growing fentanyl issue.

Governor Cuomo is proposing making several fentanyl-based chemicals illegal -- allowing law enforcement to go after those dealers.

Across New York, deadly fentanyl analogues are being found in heroin and cocaine, and pressed into pill form, mimicking prescription pills.

Cuomo is also trying to block New York insurers from limiting the number of times they'll pay for overdose-reversal medication.
