Rochester Man Resentenced in Violent 2020 Kidnapping

A Rochester man's re-sentencing in a violent Rochester kidnapping from over 6 years ago gets the same result.

55-year-old William Crenshaw was originally sentenced to 15 years to life for kidnapping and assault.

Prosecutors say he helped Raymond Dukes kidnap and attack a woman at a house on Smith Street in February 2020.

Dukes is serving 20 years to life for murder, kidnapping, and assault.

Police say he abducted 59-year-old Tim Lewis and beat him to death with a baseball bat at that same house a day before.
