The driver of an asphalt roller in Wayne County is dead and an investigation is underway.
Police say that a Lyons woman struck the rear of an asphalt roller on Warncke Road around 3:30 on Tuesday.
The 67-year-old driver of the piece of construction equipment was ejected from his seat and died at the scene.
No signs of impairment were reported for the woman.
