Wayne County deputies are probing the discovery of human remains.
They say someone found a human skull Wednesday in some woods near an apple orchard off Lake Road in Pultneyville.
More bones were found that night, but another search yesterday found nothing.
State police and the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office are currently helping with the investigation.
Anyone with information should call the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at 315-946-5800.
