The state parole board has denied parole for the man who killed his father and two brothers in a fire in Webster.
Michael Pilato is 30 now but was only 15 when he set the family home on fire in December 2011.
The fire also injured his mother and sister.
Pilato was sentenced in 2013 to 15 years to life in prison for his murder and arson convictions.
His parole hearing last month was his first.
