Opening statements are slated for today in the trial of two brothers in a quadruple murder case.
Luis Francisco Soriano and Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano are accused of torturing and killing a family of four two years ago at their home on Knapp Avenue in Irondequoit, then setting the home on fire to cover it up.
The brothers will stand trial together, but one witness will testify against only one of them, which is why two juries are necessary.
The trial is expected to last at least four weeks.
