UPDATE: 3 Charged in Rochester Carjacking, Chase

UPDATE: Three people are facing felony charges after what Rochester Police say was an armed carjacking and pursuit Monday night.

Investigators say 18-year-olds Frederick Tucker and Tyrez Starks, along with a 16-year-old boy, approached victims sitting in a car on Selye Terrace and stole the vehicle at gunpoint.

Officers spotted the stolen car about 30 minutes later and chased it to Spencerport, where all three suspects were arrested after running from the vehicle.

Police say they also recovered a suspected 3D-printed ghost gun and body armor.

All three are charged with first-degree robbery, weapons possession, grand larceny and unlawful wearing of a body vest.

Three suspects are in custody, after a carjacking and chase that began in Rochester's Maplewood neighborhood.

Police say the three took the car at gunpoint just before 11 last night on Selye Terrace, just off Dewey Avenue.

The thieves then allegedly ditched the car on Coolidge Avenue in Spencerport and tried to run for it, but were caught.

The victims were not hurt.

Charges have not been announced.
