Charges are now filed after deputies chase a stolen SUV through Rochester and onto a golf course this weekend
Nineteen-year-old Zachary Granito-Hertz of Rochester faces felony charges and is being held on $5,000 bail.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says a license plate reader alert Saturday afternoon led deputies to a stolen Hyundai on Lake Avenue near Latta Road.
When they tried to stop it, the driver sped off, eventually driving onto the Lakeshore Country Club course and causing damage.
The suspect then bailed out and ran, but was caught after a foot chase.
It was caught on video with him running across the course, chased by a police cruiser
