UPDATE: A man on federal parole is in custody after a bank robbery and a short chase on Tuesday.
30-year-old Naquan White is charged with first-degree robbery.
He's accused of claiming he had a weapon and taking cash from the Five Star Bank Headquarters Branch on Chestnut St.
License plate readers put police on to a suspect vehicle seen near the scene.
Officers say he tried to get away, crashed near Remington Street, and ran, but was quickly arrested.
White was released from prison last month on a federal weapons conviction

Rochester police are investigating a bank robbery at the Five Star Bank building on Chestnut Street.
Police responding to a hold-up alarm yesterday afternoon found a suspect had threatened a teller at the bank and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
No weapon was shown, and nobody was hurt.
Police are asking anyone who has information to call 911.
