Two parents are now indicted in what prosecutors call a severe child abuse case in Wayne County.
Authorities say Cameron Douglas, a parolee, is accused of causing serious injuries to his infant twins, including fractures and burns.
Investigators say the children’s mother, Brittany Spicer, knew about those injuries but did not seek medical care.
Both babies spent weeks in the hospital, after they were taken there in March.
Both now face assault, reckless assault of a child, and child endangerment.
