A Wolcott man has been arrested by State Police after a reopened investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a child.
Troopers say 43-year-old Jason Edwards was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and second-degree sexual abuse.
This was over an incident originally reported in 2021.
A renewed investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff's and District Attorney's Offices led to the the discovery of an additional victim and the reopening of the case.
The investigation is still underway.
