A Lyons man is dead and another seriously hurt after a two-motorcycle crash in Cayuga County.
State Police say it happened just after 4 Sunday afternoon on Route 31 in the town of Mentz.
Investigators say a driver from Auburn pulled into the intersection from Centerport Road and into the path of two motorcycles.
Both riders slammed into the SUV.
They were flown to Upstate Hospital, where 35-year-old Branden Paradise later died.
The second rider remains hospitalized.
Police say the driver stayed on scene, and alcohol is not suspected.
