The man who admitted to beating an elderly Rochester man to death has been sentenced to 15 years in prison.
35-year-old Peter Scott pleaded guilty to 1st-degree manslaughter in the death of 76-year-old Valeri Brintev back in March.
Brintev had dementia, and stumbled onto the porch of a Norton Street home two days after Christmas 2024.
That's when Scott allegedly beat and kicked Brintev repeatedly.
Brintev died of his injuries in February of last year.
