The man who escaped deputies during booking downtown is facing a slew of charges.
The Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Eric Fountain escaped the Public Safety Building early Saturday, after being arrested in a stolen car and with a large amount of drugs.
Officers found him several hours later in a drainage pipe near the Genesee River.
Fountain's charges include escape, assault, resisting arrest, and drug crimes.
One officer was injured in Fountain’s escape but is expected to be ok.
