Two Stanley residents are being treated for severe burns at Strong Memorial Hospital following a gasoline fire.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says a 15-year-old poured gasoline onto an outdoor fire and it exploded, engulfing him in flames.
51-year-old Kristen Wildrick lept to the boy's aid and suffered burns to her arms and foot while extinguishing the flames.
She was taken to Strong by ambulance and is being treated in the Emergency Department.
The teenager was airlifted to Strong by Mercy Flight and is in critical condition in the ICU Burn Unit.
Deputies say the fire was not suspicious.
