A Rochester man already facing a murder charge is now indicted in a second homicide.
32-year-old Tavontay Haygood is charged with second-degree murder and gun crimes in the September 2023 shooting death of Derrick Ellis at Diringer Place and North Goodman Street.
Haygood was already awaiting trial in the murder of Karen Wargo, who was killed on Pleasant Street last July.
Police say Haygood has three prior felony convictions.
