Rochester Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Gun, Drug Charges

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to federal drug and gun charges.

Federal prosecutors say 30-year-old Juan Sosa admitted to possession with intent to distribute more than 100 grams of a fentanyl analogue, and illegal possession of firearms as a convicted felon.

Investigators executed a search warrant at his Northlane Drive home last May, seizing large amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, and other drugs, along with cash, a loaded handgun, and an assault-style rifle with a sawed-off barrel.

The charges carry a mandatory minimum of ten years in prison.

Sentencing is scheduled for August.
