Rochester Man Indicted in Domestic Shooting

A man who police said was a violent fugitive is now facing new charges in connection with a city shooting earlier this month.

Prosecutors say 25-year-old Ronn Keitt-Smith shot a 23-year-old woman during a domestic dispute on March 7th, hitting her in the upper body.

She survived.

A grand jury indicted Keitt-Smith on two weapons charges and a drug charge.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested him on March 19 near Dewey Avenue and Felix Street.

Officers say he was armed with a loaded, stolen 9-millimeter handgun and had crack cocaine at the time.
