An Albion man is headed to federal prison for child pornography charges.
Federal prosecutors say 69-year-old Norman Kelly was sentenced to 12 years in prison after being convicted of receipt of child pornography.
Investigators say Kelly was stopped by Customs officers at Detroit Metropolitan Airport after returning from South Korea in 2023.
A search of his phone, laptop, and USB drives uncovered hundreds of images and videos of child sexual abuse material, including infants and young children.
Authorities say Kelly used the internet to solicit explicit images from minors.
