Rochester Man Charged in Deadly Drug House Stabbing

A repeat felon will be arraigned on a murder charge this morning -- in a deadly stabbing last year on Rochester's north side.

Police say 29-year-old William Cooke knifed 37-year-old Aaron Johnson-Haygood to death last November at a drug house on Avenue D, near Remington Street.

Officers arrested Cooke yesterday on Joseph Avenue.

He is on probation for a 2019 federal drug trafficking conviction, and had a warrant out for violating that probation.
