Man Sentenced in Fatal Rochester Hit-and-Run

The man who pleaded guilty in a fatal hit-and-run on Rochester's northeast side a year ago will serve two and a third to seven years in state prison.

52-year-old Bruce Bugbee of East Rochester was originally charged with criminally negligent homicide, vehicular homicide, leaving the scene, and DWI.

Police say he hit 62-year-old Jerome Blocker of Rochester at Norton and North streets in February of last year, as Blocker was riding his bike.

Bugbee was allegedly drunk at the time, with a child inside his truck.

He was later captured at a home in Ontario County.
