After two days of deliberations, a Monroe County jury has found Jamie Busch guilty of murdering her sister and trying to cover it up.
Busch was convicted of second-degree murder and two counts of tampering with evidence in the 2024 killing of her sister, Penny Busch.
Jurors reviewed body-camera video and surveillance footage from outside a Dunkin’ Donuts, where investigators say Busch dumped Penny’s three cellphones in a trash can.
Prosecutors say Busch strangled her sister inside her Honeoye Falls home, then left the body in the Genesee River in Rush.
Closing arguments wrapped up Monday.
