An early-morning fire in Nunda has claimed the life of a 71-year-old man.
Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says deputies were called to a Fourth Street apartment building around 2 Wednesday morning for heavy smoke and reports of someone trapped inside.
When crews went in, they found Louis Servidio, who lived in the building, dead.
Multiple fire departments assisted, and investigators are working to find out what caused the fire.
