Federal prosecutors say a Perinton man pleaded guilty today to charges of attempting to entice a minor.
They say 40-year-old Tony Rodriguez attempted to lure both 11 and 13-year-old girls to have sex with him.
They say Rodriguez thought he was communicating with a young girl, but was actually exchanging explicit messages with a member of the community group "Predator Poachers."
When he went to meet the girl at the Fairport Library, he was confronted by the citizen volunteer and fled before law enforcement arrived.
A second attempt with a 13-year-old turned out also to be a community volunteer trolling for predators.
Monroe County Deputies then went to Rodriguez's home and arrested him.
He'll be sentenced on May 28th.
