UPDATE: Greece Police say the two people found dead at an apartment on Squareview Lane were a father and his four-year-old son.
They also say the case is being investigated as a murder-suicide involving a firearm.
That was the conclusion of the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police are not releasing the names of the deceased because one is a young child, and to minimize the effect on the family.
GPD says they continue to investigate and may release information at a later time, depending on what facts they find and respect for the family.
They say it remains a deeply tragic event.

Greece police say they're investigating after finding two people dead at Fetzner Square Apartments and Townhouses.
Police were called to the apartment on Squareview Lane last night by a request for a welfare check.
They found the two people dead inside in what they say appeared to be an isolated incident, with no threat to public safety.
No further information was release,d and the incident remains under investigation.
