Teen Pleads Guilty in Deadly Southwest Side Shooting

A teen arrested in a fatal shooting on Rochester's southwest side has pleaded guilty to manslaughter

17-year-old Ramell Griffin was originally charged with 2nd-degree murder, along with assault and a gun crime.

Police say he gunned down 18-year-old Devin Barstow outside the Flint Street Rec Center during a robbery in October 2024.

Griffin was already being held for allegedly stealing a car.

He's expected to get 17 to 19 years in prison when he's sentenced in March.
