Rochester Man Sentenced in Murder of Corner Store Owner

The Rochester man who admitted killing a corner store owner has been sentenced to 23 years in prison.

Police say 48-year-old Tony Brown shot Ali Saleh several times at close range at the counter of the store on Clifford Avenue back in March.

They believe the murder was in retaliation for a fight between Brown and an associate of Saleh's at the store earlier in the week.

Brown was arrested hours later with the alleged murder weapon.

He pleaded guilty to 1st-degree manslaughter in October.
