A former substitute teacher in Canandaigua is facing charges for allegedly sending inappropriate messages to students.
27-year-old Michael Thompson is charged with two counts of child endangerment, after investigators say he sent messages and pictures to two students on Snapchat between November and December.
The district says Thompson was removed from its substitute list and had worked just two days this year at Canandaigua Academy.
He also served as a part-time coach for indoor track and boys modified lacrosse.
Canandaigua Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
