A convicted Canandaigua rapist and his girlfriend will get jail time in a murder-for-hire plot.
Alexander Kise will serve 5 to 15 more years, while Alydia Gater gets 2 to 6 years.
Prosecutors say the two tried to hire a hitman with about $1,700 worth of Xanax to kill the judge in Kise's rape trial.
Instead, the hitman turned out to be an undercover Trooper.
Kise is already serving 35 years for the rape conviction.
