UPDATE: Irondequoit Man Critically Wounded in Rochester Stabbing, Crash

UPDATE: A Rochester man is charged with attempted murder and assault in an overnight stabbing that left an Irondequoit man critically wounded.

Police say 55-year-old Walter Feathers slashed the 78-year-old early this morning.

The victim was discovered after crashing his car into several others on Driving Park Avenue, near Archer Street.

He was rushed to Strong Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Feathers is on parole on another attempted murder charge.

An Irondequoit man is fighting for his life, after a stabbing and crash on Rochester's northwest side.

Police say the 78-year-old was found with stab wounds to the chest, after his car struck several others early this morning on Driving Park Avenue, near Archer Street.

He was rushed to Strong Hospital.

A 55-year-old man was arrested for the stabbing at a nearby home on Bidwell Terrace.

His name and the charges against him have not been released.
