Rochester Man Sentenced in Deadly Rental Home Shooting

15 years in prison for one of the people involved in a deadly shooting at a Rochester rental house.

33-year-old Martin Gibson pleaded guilty to manslaughter in August.

He was originally facing 2nd-degree murder and other charges in a 32-count indictment.

Police say 24-year-old Jahkeem Douglas was part of a group filming a tribute rap video at an Illinois Street home in December 2022, when he was killed in a shootout that broke out between two groups in the basement.

Co-defendant Davonte Lippens pleaded guilty to a weapons charge and is awaiting sentencing.
