2 Fires Break Out on Rochester's Northeast Side

Rochester firefighters had to battle two blazes just blocks apart on the city's northeast side.

The first broke out just after 5 yesterday morning at a home on Central Park, between 3rd and 4th streets.

No one was home, but crews rescued two dogs.

The second ignited just after 7 last night at a vacant house on Reed Park, between Hudson Avenue and North Street.

No injuries were reported in either fire.
