Rochester Man Takes Plea Deal in Deadly Corner Store Shooting

A guilty plea from a Rochester man accused of killing a corner store owner.

48-year-old Tony Brown pleaded guilty to manslaughter instead of going to trial on murder charges.

He admits to shooting Ali Saleh several times at close range at the counter of the store on Clifford Avenue back in March.

They believe the murder was in retaliation for a fight between Brown and an associate of Saleh's at the store earlier in the week.

Brown was arrested hours later with the alleged murder weapon.

He will be sentenced to 23 years in prison and 5 years post-release supervision.
