One shooter at last July's melee in Maplewood Park has been sentenced to prison time.
21-year-old Niger Johnson was given 8 years in jail for his conviction on reckless endangerment and gun charges.
Police say as many as 16 people opened fire on a barbecue in Maplewood Park, but so far, Johnson is the only one who has been arrested, after he was seen on social media at the park with a drawn gun in his hand.
He was NOT charged with any of the fatal shots that killed 34-year-old Phylicia Council and 25-year-old Tysia Manning.
40 to 50 rounds were fired overall, and at the time of his arrest, RPD said they know some of the shooters, but haven't found them.
