Plea Deal Rejected Again in Robert Brooks Beating Case

One of the guards facing a murder trial Monday in the fatal prison beating of Rochester area inmate Robert Brooks has once again rejected a final plea deal

Guard Nicholas Kieffer, along with David Kingsley and Matthew Galliher, all go on trial for murder next week.

A fourth guard, Michael Fisher, had his trial split off and delayed after the defense argued that a prosecution move would make him an accessory, rather than a primary defendant.

That's something the speical prosecutor denies.

Several officers were seen on body camera footage beating Brooks to death at Marcy Correctional in December
