Man Guilty of Fatal Shooting Outside Rochester Bar

A Monroe County jury has delivered a guilty verdict in a deadly shooting at a Thurston Road parking lot.

51-year-old Malcolm Bryant was convicted of second-degree murder, attempted murder, and a gun crime.

Prosecutors said Bryant killed 48-year-old Robert Prescott and attempted to kill another man on February 9th.

Police said Bryant and Prescott's friend got into a fight in a bar.

Prescott and his friend were walking to the parking lot when Bryant walked up behind them and started shooting.

Bryant will be sentenced November 14th.
