UPDATE: The man whose body was found in the Erie Canal Wednesday has been identified.
Deputies say the remains of 72-year-old Alan Rulison of Rochester were spotted in the waters near Pittsford.
Investigators say there are no signs of foul play.

There's no word yet on the name of the man whose body was discovered in the Erie Canal in Pittsford.
Someone spotted the body at around 2:30 yesterday.
Deputies say the body is that of a middle-aged to older man.
The County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the man and determine how he died.
