CA Pair Accused of Trafficking Drugs to Rochester Area

Two people from California face federal drug charges, accused of selling fentanyl and cocaine in greater Rochester.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Tevin Williams and 25-year-old Zakyia Williams of Sherman Oaks, California, distributed large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl in the Rochester area and elsewhere for over a year, starting in December of 2021.

Prosecutors say they shipped fentanyl to accomplices in Webster- and Tevin Williams even visited here to re-supply his co-conspirators.

Officials made 8 fentanyl purchases from the network and intercepted at least 3 packages from the mail.

They are charged with conspiracy to distribute and sell the drugs
