A Laos man convicted in a Rochester murder in the 1990s will soon be deported.

62-year-old Lao Sihathep was arrested by ICE officers this week, just as he was released from prison.

He stabbed his live-in girlfriend to death at their Avenue D home in 1995.

In an online posting, ICE officials say, "This murderer will never harm another person in the U.S.”
