2 Charged After Dozens of Cats Rescued from Perinton Home

Charges are now filed against the owners of a Perinton home where over 50 cats were seized last month.

George and Pamela Meyer face dozens of misdemeanor counts, including torturing or injuring animals and failure to provide sustenance.

Humane Society officials went to the Kreag Road home August 20th, after several neighbor complaints.

He's the same home where they found animal hoarding and unsafe conditions after a fire in January 2021.

Nearly 100 dogs and cats were rescued in that incident.
