Repeat Rochester Felon Sentenced to 20 to Life in Prison for Stabbing

A Rochester man has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison as a persistent Violent Felony Offender.

The Monroe County DA's Office says 49-year-old Marquis Hucks was sentenced after being convicted by a jury of robbery and assault for stabbing and robbing a Rochester man.

This happened a year ago in a Rochester parking lot. The victim was stabbed in the shoulder and his bicycle stolen.

Hucks was identified two days later as the assailant and arrested.
