The vacant Tent City building in Rochester is being torn down, following a 5-alarm fire.
Firefighters say the inferno broke out around 10:30 last night in the 4-story structure at Dewey and Lyell avenues.
At least two nearby homes were threatened by the fire and evacuated.
One firefighter was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
The building was under construction, as a developer was converting it into apartments.
