The Monroe County Department of Public Health announced a possible measles exposure coming from a guest earlier this month at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel on Jefferson Road
They say an out-of-town, unvaccinated child tested positive for measles in another state, but contact tracing determined the child had stayed one night at the hotel on June 6.
A statement from the county says the overall risk to the community is low, based on the person's short stay, and because of vaccination or previous exposure levels.
Commissioner Marielena Vélez de Brown says they have already started to reach out to anyone who might have come in contact.
No cases have been reported so far.
