An RPD officer is recovering, after a head-on crash with a suspect's vehicle on Rochester's east side.
Police say it happened yesterday afternoon on 3rd Street, near Bay Street.
The suspect was allegedly speeding away from a domestic issue, and was arrested after trying to run away from the crash.
The officer is expected to recover, and the suspect was also taken to the hospital to be checked out.
There's no word yet on charges.
