Rochester Man Charged in Deadly Upper Falls Shooting

A Rochester man will be arraigned today, in a deadly shooting last week in the Upper Falls neighborhood.

23-year-old Jordan Figueroa-Olivo faces 1st-degree manslaughter and a gun crime.

Police say he shot 19-year-old Delwin Aponte-Charbonier in the torso inside a Ward Street home last Saturday.

Aponte-Charbonier died at the hospital several hours later.

A search of Figueroa-Olivo's home turned up the handgun, along with three high-capacity magazines.
