Rochester Man Indicted in Teen's Deadly Shooting

A Rochester man has been indicted in a shooting on the city's north side last month that left a teen girl dead.

18-year-old Michael Garcia faces 2nd-degree murder, along with attempted murder, assault, and gun crimes.

Police say he shot at a 30-year-old man at a home on Alphonse Street.

A stray bullet hit 17-year-old Danyelisse Pabon-Cubero in the head.

She died days later, while the man was seriously wounded, but survived.

Garcia was arrested after an hours-long standoff at a Brockport apartment.
