Man Convicted in Fatal North St. Stabbing

A Rochester man indicted in a deadly stabbing last summer outside a gas station has been found guilty.

46-year-old Herbert Montgomery was convicted of second-degree murder for the stabbing that killed 38-year-old Christopher Austin.

It happened during a fight in the parking lot at the corner of North Street and Clifford Avenue last July.

Montgomery has two prior felony convictions and is on federal probation for a drug conspiracy conviction.
