The 7 people arrested in the death of Sam Nordquist are charged with 1st-degree murder and other crimes.
An indictment was unsealed against them this morning, charging them with 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, kidnapping, conspiracy, and child endangerment.

- Kyle Sage, 33
- Patrick Goodwin, 30
- Emily Motyka, 19
- Jennifer Quijano, 30
- Kimberly Sochia, 29
- Thomas Eaves, 21
Arzuaga, Quijano, Sage and Goodwin are also charged with aggravated sexual abuse.
A conviction on the top charge would bring life in prison without parole.
Prosecutor Kelly Wofford says the torture Nordquist endured was horrific, and 12- and 7-year-old children were forced to take part.
The Ontario County DA's Office has said there's not enough evidence to prove this was a hate crime, although Nordquist was a transgender man.
