Drexel Killer's Girlfriend Sentenced for Lying to FBI

The girlfriend of the man who killed Chili teenager Brittanee Drexel in 2009 will serve 18 years in prison for lying to the FBI during the investigation.

Angel Vause pleaded guilty back in September in federal court in South Carolina to three counts of making a false statement to federal agents.

The allegations involved the investigation of Raymond Moody in 2022. Moody later confessed to Drexel's rape and murder.

Vause was indicted last March and decided to accept the plea deal after rejecting it the prior month.

Moody is serving a life sentence.
