UPDATE: Man Arrested in Deadly 19th Ward Shooting

UPDATE: Rochester police have made an arrest in the city's latest homicide.

50-year-old Malcom Bryant is charged with 2nd-degree murder, along with attempted murder and a gun crime.

Police say he gunned down 48-year-old Robert Prescott in a parking lot outside a Thurston Road bar early yesterday morning.

The shooting followed an argument between the two inside the bar.

Prescott is unofficially the 6th homicide victim in Rochester so far this year.

One man is dead, after an overnight shooting in Rochester's 19th Ward.

Police say a 48-year-old man was found in a Thurston Rd. parking lot with a gunshot wound to the torso.

He died shortly after at Strong Hospital.

Police say the victim and the shooter got into an argument at a nearby bar prior to the shooting.

It's the 6th homicide in Rochester so far this year.

There are no arrests, and anyone with information should call 911.
